Early bird gets the worm
So Magen and I have three children among the two of us that we simply adore... however, besides being the love of our lives, over the years they've become our personal alarm clocks (weekends not excluded); leaving us no choice to get our days started early...thus, I prepare for my first meal of the day the night before! I mostly begin my morning with a protein shake mixed with fruits and veggies, but there's those moments when we both want a sweet, subtle yet satisfying nutritional treat. Check out our delicious whole wheat/grain blueberry-banana pancakes topped with a natural fruit glaze. It may sound like a tedious calorie counter given the carbs, but not at all.
