Sunday Skinny "Sweet Tooth"

All foodies get the urge for something sweet, but don't want to compromise the hard work we have  invested in our figures.  Well, with the help of the SFG's, you no longer have to hang on to the guilt of the "sweet tooth!"  Why be ashamed, we all have one, and although our dentists don't recommend it, we tend to use it when the need calls. After exploring with some of our favorite recipes, the SFG's have transformed many of our "sweet tooth" delights into simple skinny sweets. Today's  feature complements Fall harvest time - Grilled Peach Banana Split topped with cinnamon spice and everything nice!

Ingredients:

3 large peaches (California Peaches were used for this recipe)
   1 cup of frozen blueberries
   2 medium bananas
1 small bag of tropical fruit blend (mangos, peaches, strawberry, and banana was used in this recipe)
   1 cup of almond milk
   1 teaspoon of cinnamon
   1 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla or extract
1 tablespoon of honey (agave nectar can be used here if preferred)

Directions:

   1. Pre-heat grill on medium to high heat, and place peach halves face down on the grill until grill marks are defined and peach no longer sticks to grill.
   2. Remove halves from grill, top with nutmeg and cinnamon, and let them rest for 5 minutes.
   3. In a blender combine frozen fruit, almond milk, vanilla, honey, and three ice cubes and pulse before blending until all ingredients are smooth and a sorbet consistency.
   4. Slice bananas thin and vertically
   5. Place grilled peach halves on a serving dish, top with a scoop of sorbet and sliced banana and serve immediately. Enjoy.

This succulent sweet tooth satisfier will be a new hit for mom, dad, and even the kiddos!
