Here in Houston, the summer heat brings on sunbathing, outdoor grilling, and more importantly, ice cold beverages. To quench that thirst, enjoy an Iced Chai Tea. Say no to those calorie-counter frappaccino's and sip without the guilt.
Ingredients
1 Chai tea bag
2 cups of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/3 cup of water
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of Splenda
Pinch of nutmeg to taste
Directions
1. Combine water and almond milk in your favorite mug and warm for 3 minutes, microwave will do just fine.
2. Place chai tea bag in mug, top with a saucer and steep.
3. Once steeping is complete, add Splenda and honey.
4. Grab a glass, pour tea over ice, top with nutmeg and enjoy.
